“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope”
– Martin Luther King, Jr.
Breaking up is never easy, nor money or looks guarantee us safe haven from a break up. Take example of the rich and famous, and most of them have already went through betrayal, heart breaks and heart aches right in front of our eyes (courtesy of the paparazzi network of course). Beautiful and talented J. Aniston got dumped for A.Jolie , Brittney Spears was apparently cheated on and left with her 2 sons. You think you had it bad with a cheater? Think of Hillary Clinton and the ordeal she went through. She is a public persona and everybody knows of the Monica’s “exploits”. Yet Hillary made it through, gathered her forces, and turned the page, without ripping it out by leaving Bill. Bottom line is: No one is protected against heartbreaks and it is the way you take it, that will make the difference. And you can’t do it on your own, because everybody required some kind of breakup support.
Relationship breakup support manifests itself in different ways. Whether it’s online break up support groups, or an off-coast vacation with your best buddies, there are several types of “getting over aids”.
While support groups for breakups unite individuals from across the globe to help them evacuate their feelings and share the experience with others. A trip with friends will allow you to shift your attention from heart ache to something different and exciting. These are two different approaches, to reach the same goal.
The break up support group, can also offer a certain level of free counselling by professionals, which will allow you to look at the situation differently.
Some people also turn to psychologist to help them internalize the break up. However in our modern life, not everybody has the money and time to invest in such a service. Your resources will determine which approach to use, but even the littlest available time can bring you the biggest benefit. Talking it out might bring your attention to self statements, you ignored before. Enrolling into a new activity will not only keep you occupied, but also give you an opportunity to meet new people.
